Tariff of Fees and Charges of HSBC Continental Europe – Trade Finance

General Terms and Conditions:

We would like to kindly inform you that on 1 April 2024 the new "General terms and conditions of opening and maintaining bank accounts with HSBC Continental Europe (Spółka Akcyjna) Oddział w Polsce" will be implemented. The change introduces the amended wording in clauses 5.9 c, 5.25, 6.1, 7.3, 7.5, 7.8, 12.3 also changes in chapters 1 and 14.

We would like to kindly inform you that on 11 April 2022 the new "General terms and conditions of opening and maintaining bank accounts with HSBC Continental Europe (Spółka Akcyjna) Oddział w Polsce" will be implemented. The change introduces the amended wording in clauses 4.6, 5.18 and 5.19.

We would like to kindly inform you that on 17 October 2021 the new "General terms and conditions of opening and maintaining bank accounts with HSBC Continental Europe (Spółka Akcyjna) Oddział w Polsce" will be implemented. The change introduces the amended wording in clause 8.3.

We would like to kindly inform you that on 1 March 2021 the new "General terms and conditions of opening and maintaining bank accounts with HSBC Continental Europe (Spółka Akcyjna) Oddział w Polsce" will be implemented. The change introduces the amended wording in clauses 4.9, 5.1, 5.10, 15.3 as well as adding clause 15.3a.

We would like to kindly inform you that on 1 January 2021 the new "General terms and conditions for opening and maintaining bank accounts with HSBC Continental Europe (Spółka Akcyjna) Oddział w Polsce" will be implemented. The change introduces the amended sections regarding termination of the Account Agreement, the scope of the Bank's liability when using electronic means of communication and transmission of data. Additionally new base rates have been introduced to the amended General Conditions.

We kindly inform that on 15 December 2019 the new "General terms and conditions of opening and maintaining bank accounts with HSBC Continental Europe (Spółka Akcyjna) Oddział w Polsce" come into force.

Changes relate to implementation of Act of 9 August 2019 Amending the Act on Value Added Tax (Poland's Journal of Laws from 2019 item 1751).

On 14 September 2019 the new "General terms and conditions of opening and maintaining bank accounts with HSBC France (Spółka Akcyjna) Oddział w Polsce" come into force. Changes relate to implementation of Act of 10 May 2018 Amending the Payment Services Act which puts on payment service providers new responsibilities in relation to regulatory technical standards for strong customer authentication and common and secure open standards of communication.

The change introduces definitions of: "Account Information Service Provider", "Payment Initiation Service Provider", "Third Party Provider". New items 5.4, 5.7, 5.13, 5.14.a, 12.7.i, 14.5, 15.15 were introduced.

On 1 April 2019 the new "General terms and conditions of opening and maintaining bank accounts with HSBC France (Spółka Akcyjna) Oddział w Polsce" come into force.

On 1 July 2018 the new "General terms and conditions of opening and maintaining bank accounts with HSBC Bank Polska S.A." come into force. Changes relates to Act which takes effect on 1 July 2018, namely the Act of 15 December 2017 Amending the Act on Goods and Services Tax and Some Other Acts, which introduce the so-called split payment mechanism into the Polish legal system.

On 6 January 2018 the new "General terms and conditions of opening and maintaining bank accounts with HSBC Bank Polska S.A." come into force. Following change was introduced under point 4.8: "If the transfer is effected to this state, fees and charges are shared in accordance with SHA principle."

On 1 December 2016 the new "General terms and conditions of opening and maintaining bank accounts with HSBC Bank Polska S.A." come into force.

The attachment to "General terms and conditions of opening and maintaining bank accounts with HSBC Continental Europe (Spółka Akcyjna) Oddział w Polsce" called "Conditions for Execution of Transfers in HSBC Continental Europe (Spółka Akcyjna) Oddział w Polsce" has changed as of 1 April 2019.

Cut-off times:

As from October 1, 2024 the new Payment orders cut-off times comes into force.

Regulations:

This is to inform you that on 1st of April 2021 amended “Terms and Conditions for credit facilities granted by HSBC Continental Europe (Spółka Akcyjna) Oddział w Polsce” will be implemented. Main changes relate to removing provisions regarding trade finance products, which are as of 1 April 2021 subject to Standard Trade Terms. The Terms and Conditions, as currently binding, will remain applicable to the trade finance products, in particular guarantees and letters of credit, opened / issued based on client applications submitted to the Bank by 31 March 2021. Please also note amended section regarding Rights of the Bank in case of Benchmark Transition Date.
